Handmade Zero Waste deodorant with 3 ingredients

This zero waste handmade deodorant is very easy to make and we’re to show you how to do it. To make 200ml of deodorant you need 3 ingredients:
  • Boil the tap water for 1-2 minutes and leave it to cool off without moving it
  • Pour it very slowly in a recipient with a lip, filtering it with some kitchen paper
  • Add a spoon of baking soda and stirstirstir
  • Let the baking soda to sit for a short while so that water can saturate
  • Pour the saturated water in the spray bottle (slowly, slowly so to not pour in it also the remaining powder)
  • Add 20 drops of Tea Tree essential oils (+ that of the scents we prefer. We suggest lavender and mint)
  • Done!
PS. The first two steps, when we boil the water and let it cool, is optional. The result will not change much if we use tap water filtering it with kitchen paper. Do you have some more Zero Waste suggestions and solutions? Write us! We’ll be happy to add it to our list and inspire always more people. • 300 ml of tap water
  • 1 spoon of baking soda
  • 20 drops of Tea Tree Oil
  • If we want, other essential oils we like for scenting
Of course, we’ll also need a reusable spray to reuse endlessly. We can even reuse an old single-use spray bottle.
